Power consumption in Russia’s UES falls by 0.2% in July
MOSCOW, Aug 2 (PRIME) -- Power consumption in Russia’s unified energy system (UES) decreased by 0.2% on the year to 81.9 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in July, dispatching company System Operator of the Unified Energy System said in a statement on Tuesday.
Power production in the system shrank by 1% to 82.5 billion kWh in the month.
In January–July, power consumption in Russia’s unified energy system rose by 1.8% to 638.2 billion kWh, while production gained 1.5% to 648.7 billion kWh.
